dismal_magiHere are some IC stuff about this Grey Warden. For basis of character and information on him. This is mainly for me because I tend to forget shit.
First and foremost, mun and character are over 21.
Name: Drake Amell
Class: Mage
Key Relatives: Revka Amell (mother), (father unknown), (unknown siblings throughout other Circles in Thedas), Leandra Amell [Hawke] (aunt once-removed), [Garrett] Hawke (2nd cousin), Bethany Hawke (2nd cousin), Carver Hawke (2nd cousin)
Specializations: Arcane Warrior, Spirit Healer
Face Claim / Portrayed By: Lasse Pedersen
Physical Characteristics: 6'0½" / 184 cm, thin semi-athletic build approx. 164 lbs / 74 kg., short reddish ginger hair and aquamarine eyes. Small tattoo wards on both forearms palm-side up
In-Game Decisions: (these were not necessarily done in this order...)
• Helped Jowan obtain his phylactery to destroy it. Drake was loyal to Jowan and did not tell the First Enchanter about Jowan's plans.
• Lake Calenhad Circle Tower:
•• Once at the tower, Drake checked for any survivors and rescued as many as he could.
•• Which effectively made him side with the mages.
•• RE: The Fade: Lost in Dreams -- Companion were rescued from their nightmares. (Alistair, Leliana, and Zevran) before killing the sloth demon.
•• Uldred was ultimately killed.
•• First Enchanter Irving survived and declared the tower safe once again.
• Redcliffe:
•• Helped Teagan defend the village at night.
•• Jowan was left at the castle, imprisoned, while exploring the afflicted castle.
•• The Circle was contacted for help in going inside the Fade. Drake entered the Fade, convinced the Desire Demon to forever leave Connor alone and get a trade from her. Something to increase talents...
•• After Andraste's Ashes were retrieved, Eamon was instantly cured of his ailment. Asked if Jowan could be set free but was not allowed to and was defaulted to be returned to The Circle.
• Brecilian Forest:
•• Sided with The Grand Oak and retrieved Grand Oak Acorn from a crazy Mad Hermit. Mad Hermit was ultimately killed since he turned hostile.
•• Zathrian was convinced to lift the curse after learning the truth.
•• Siding with both the elves and the werewolves, the elves were cured from lycanthropy and the werewolves in the lair have become human.
• The Village of Haven:
•• Looked at the back of the shop to see a dismembered knight of Redcliffe. Shop-owner turns hostile and is killed.
•• Did not side with Kolgrim and was forced to kill him, vial was not taken to taint Andraste's ashes.
•• Called forth the high dragon at the mountain top and was killed.
•• Drake answered to the Guardian: "I wish there was something more that I could have done to help Jowan."
•• Trials were passed with flying colors. All equipment was removed in the last trial before getting a pinch of Andraste's Ashes.
•• Genitivi was warned of the complications it may have from spreading the news of Andraste's Ashes existing. "If anything wrong comes of this, it will be on your head."
• Orzammar:
•• Sided with Prince Bhelen at all times and did not betray him.
•• At the Anvil of the Void, The Warden sided with Caridin after learning of its true nature. Branka was killed and the anvil was destroyed as per his wishes. Boon from Caridin was handed over to Oghren due to his loss of Branka.
•• Bhelen was crowned king.
• The Landsmeet:
•• Supported Anora. Did not insist that Loghain pay for his crimes.
•• 'Lost Templar' quest completed, Grand Cleric denounces Loghain.
•• South Reach, Waking Seas, Dragon's Peak, and Western Hills on The Grey Wardens' side.
•• 'Trial of the Crows' completed, mysterious noble sided with The Grey Wardens.
•• Killed Loghain, despite not insisting that he pay for his crimes.
•• Decided for Anora to take the throne for herself. Respected Alistair's wishes that he didn't want to be king.
• Agreed to have Morrigan perform the "ritual" to save himself from having to be sacrificed from the killing of the archdemon.
• Naturally, Drake took the last blow to slay the archdemon.
• Had no romantic relationships with anyone. (Was pretty close to Leliana and Zevran, though... Considered Alistair a best friend. Wynne was quite motherly towards him.)
Location: In Thedas, Drake can mainly be found in Denerim (as he acquired Arl Howe's assets and has set living there) and Lake Calenhad Circle Tower in Ferelden, and can seldom be seen in Kirkwall to "visit" family in The Free Marches.
AU Modern Day Setting: Drake can mainly be found in Boston and Salem, Massachusetts but also operates out of Providence, Rhode Island; Birmingham, UK; and parts of northern Norway.
